40 Hilarious Design Mistakes That Led to Mixed Messaging

Raising awareness of breast cancer and early detection is very important, so from time to time, you might see billboards, signs, or commercials promoting this cause. However, we’ve never seen such advertisements on a garbage truck before. And once again, this sign doesn’t make sense no matter how you read it.

“Think pink” makes some sense since pink is the official color for breast cancer awareness, but the rest makes no sense. What is “trash cancer”? Or “think trash”? I guess the message comes across as long as they have the ribbon symbolizing breast cancer coupled with the pink background and the word cancer. I’m still not sure exactly what the message is, but they’re trying to raise awareness, which is good.
