Bam Margera
Some of you may remember Bam Margera, a famous skateboarder from the early 2000s. Many people assumed he was an arrogant douchebag at the height of his fame, but this person posted the story that changed his mind. He worked at Spencer’s Gifts in a Pennsylvania mall when he was younger. On a slow weekday afternoon, a big group of guys came in to do some shopping. Turns out, it was Bam Margera and his crew.
One of the crew members came up to our storyteller and asked if he could close the store for them. The OP wasn’t allowed to do that and told the guy so. The random crew member totally lost it at that point and started yelling obscenities. Out of nowhere, Bam comes up and punches the guy, tells him to shut up, and orders him to wait outside. Bam then turned to the OP and apologized for his crew’s behavior. Turns out he wasn’t a douche, but his crew members were!
