Okay, this is the most suspicious confession thus far, and I’m not even sure what to make of it. My initial thought was that they were telling us that the lab isn’t particularly sterile. Yet the use of eclipses (three dots for you ignoramuses out there) seems to be leading us to more sinister conclusions.

There are other potential reasons for deliberately keeping rats around in the lab, and each of them is worse than the last. Is their milk extracted and used in medication? Is their bite a tool to distract patients from pain when they run out of epidurals? Or are they stored for the staff to have an easy meal?
