#17: Vampires Are Back in Town
Maybe I should be taking this a little bit more seriously, but it seems pretty funny to me to be thinking about blood as a resource that is or isn’t in supply. That liquid is a part of my body, and sure, it’s great that medicine has progressed to the point that we can donate it… But it’s still weird.

Also, I would’ve thought that if we were quite so advanced, we would have figured out a way to manufacture it artificially by now. We know how to produce just about any substance that we need. Why can’t we start producing blood in laboratories and shipping it around to hospitals in need?
