#9: Giant Squid
Many of us try hard not to think about all the different sea creatures that live in the ocean. There are enough scary things we need to worry about seeing in the ocean, and all of the extra scary things make us feel more overwhelmed by things we will never understand.

This picture of a giant squid is exactly why we don’t swim too far out in the ocean. The fact that something like this even exists blows our minds. The ocean is full of weird and wonderful creatures, but we’re pretty sure we would be just as happy not knowing this exists in our waters.
