Desserts Made From a Simple Can of Cinnamon Rolls

October 18, 2022 by Veronica Phillips

Few things smell as good as cinnamon rolls in the oven on a crisp fall morning. Or afternoon. Or evening. We aren’t here to judge. And, of course, homemade cinnamon rolls are the most delicious, but you’ll never find us turning down the kind from a can. And the best part about the cinnamon rolls from a can? They’re delicious, they’re always ready to be tossed in the oven, and it doesn’t take much to make an even more incredible dessert out of them, which is what brings us here today. Here are a few drool-worthy desserts made with a can (or two) of cinnamon rolls.

Blueberry Cinnamon Roll Bake

If you need to throw something together that is both easy and delicious for a breakfast you’re hosting, brunch, or even dessert, then look no further than this four-ingredient cinnamon roll bake. All you need is a can of cinnamon rolls, butter, brown sugar, and fresh blueberries. Now, we get it, blueberries aren’t everyone’s jam but don’t worry because you can substitute in the berries you do love. Get the full recipe here!

French Toast Casserole

They had us at casserole, to be honest. French toast is always a crowd-pleaser, but it can be time-consuming and not much fun for the person actually making the French toast. Instead, consider this dish that only requires a can of cinnamon rolls and a few pantry and fridge staples. The pecans are totally optional, and dare we recommend, drizzling Nutella on top. This French toast casserole will have your house smelling incredible and we can pretty much guarantee everyone will devour it. Get the full recipe here!

Two-Ingredient Apple Cobbler

Two-ingredients? Say less. All you have to do is mix apple pie filling with chopped-up cinnamon rolls, then drizzle the icing on top once it comes out of the oven. We do recommend cutting up the apples in the pie filling and we highly recommend serving this warm with a gigantic scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. And maybe add a little caramel drizzle on top of the ice cream. Get the full recipe here!

Fruit Pie Cinnamon Roll Cups

These fruit pie cinnamon roll cups are like a delightful fruit pie, cheesecake, pastry hybrid. All you need is five ingredients to whip these up and what we love most is that you can pick and choose which pie filling you’d like to use making these an ideal breakfast or dessert for a crowd. (or picky eaters!) Get the full recipe here!
