Consider This Your Sign to Take On the Tiny Home Life

July 11, 2022 by Moshe Goldyan

We’ll keep this short and sweet, we love tiny homes and living a minimal lifestyle. If you’re even thinking about taking on the tiny house life, consider this your sign to do so. Let’s take a look at just a few of the benefits that come with a tiny house.

Cleaning is a Cinch

If you find yourself taking an entire day to clean your house just to get it dirty in a matter of hours and you’re kinda over all that, those days will be long gone in a tiny home. Odds are, even a deep clean will only take you a few hours then you’ve got the rest of your day to do with it what you will. If a weekly deep clean isn’t your thing and you’re more of a “room a night” kind of person, this will take you next to no time of an evening. (You’ll have so much time for activities!)

No Clutter Zone

With a tiny home, gone are the days of buying things just for fun because, well, there’s nowhere to store all of those fun purchases. If you’re someone that is interested in minimalizing your life, then a tiny home situation would be ideal because you simply can’t have clutter. If you’re someone that makes a lot of unnecessary purchases (no judgment!) this could save you some big bucks.

Bills, Bills, Bills

Speaking of saving money, with less space you’re going to see a major decrease in your monthly bills. And that’s something everyone can get behind.

Quality of Life

Tiny homeowners have reported that they feel their overall happiness and quality of life have improved simply based on the fact they aren’t surrounded by “stuff”. Not only are they not weighed down by a mortgage and bills that are higher and higher each month, but they’re also spending less time around the house doing things they have to do, and instead, they have time for the things they want to do.

Because you’re using less water, less energy, less everything, tiny homeowners are lowering their carbon footprint.

Tiny House, Big Comfort

Just because you’re living in a tiny home doesn’t mean you can’t be bougie. You can nab just about any and every appliance you can think of for your tiny home, the creativity lies in the layout. But don’t think for a second you can’t have a bathtub, towel warmer, washer and dryer, or every kitchen appliance under the sun.

Threat Level: Little to None

Bigger homes are more likely to be robbed than small ones, and we think that’s something we can all find comfort in.
