Little Boxes on the Hillside, Little Boxes All the Same
Have you ever been to some kind of history or architecture museum and seen the tiny models that are scaled down versions of what used to be or the building you’re inside? This looks exactly like one of those models stretched out over a large tabletop. To be honest, the uniformity of it is a little unnerving.
However, this isn’t a scaled-down model. This is actually a real life neighborhood in Mexico City, Mexico, designed for the express purpose of making everything symmetrical and achieving uncanny similarity in the process. We had to look closer at details like cars to make sure we weren’t just looking at some bad 3D model.
