It’s hard to answer this question, as it seems so far-fetched. Even if an event like this would be helpful, they wouldn’t send out invitations in the mail but rather online e-vites. The world has gone digital and paperless. How the times have changed. No one gets invitations to such events these days, as you can help yourself with the information on social media.
