We could have sworn this image is from a movie as a wallpaper movie poster—you know, some futuristic sci-fi or fantasy film. However, this Snapchat user captured this image in the right place and time, so we can believe images like this can be real.

Before you get all excited, this photo wasn’t taken anywhere in the U.S. but in Russia. This is an extremely rare phenomenon caused by light refracted by ice. These pillars of light are colorful because they reflect the colors of other light sources around them.
