I just love those stories where they leave out details that are crucial to understanding the story. What possible reason could this family have had to schedule dinner for 2:00? We’re not talking about a dinner that got unexpectedly delayed by a series of misfortunate circumstances…we’re talking about a group of people who thought that was a good time to start.

Well, bizarre circumstances aside, it’s definitely frustrating to be kept from dinner because of a hold-up at work, especially one that involves busted pipes and flooding. Though it does depend on your family. I’m sure there are some here who would rather spend Christmas emptying buckets of water than have to hang out with their families.
