What’s a few burnt belongings when weighed up against a night you’ll never forget? If I have to choose between the same boring old holiday with another conversation about inflation and rising housing prices or an exciting night filled with just the right amount of danger – I’ll choose the latter every time.

I’m glad this family had their priorities straight and understood that it was an experience to be relished and not mourned. Why exactly they are quite so incapable of lighting the pudding is another story entirely, but “We all had fun with it” is a pretty great takeaway for a burnt cupboard and wall.
