Knitted Outerwear Can Be Tricky
Your hat, scarf, and gloves can be your best friends when the temperature drops below your comfort level. But, as much as you rely on them, keeping them in good shape is essential. That’s why you must wash them occasionally and be sure they dry properly to prevent bacteria growth.
You don’t need to wash them regularly, but up to five times per fall and winter is a suitable amount. And here’s a tip on the house: don’t ball up your gloves in your coat pocket. It may help prevent you from losing them, but then they can’t dry properly and become a breeding ground for bacteria.
