Mmm, there’s nothing like bundling under your warm, heavy comforter on a frigid winter’s night. And just like clean sheets feel like heaven, so does a clean comforter. Fortunately, you don’t need to wash it with the same frequency as your sheets, but it is vital that you do it.

If you cover your comforter with a duvet, you can take the duvet off to wash it once every month or two. However, you still need to clean the comforter itself; do this a few times a year. Of course, if you don’t use a duvet, you’ll need to wash your comforter more frequently.
