Sponge Bob Dirty Pants
Your dish sponge is one of the hardest-working tools in your entire home. It’s responsible for cleaning up gunk and grease and caked-on food. Now that we’ve got you thinking about how often you use it on dirt and grime, you might be tempted to simply pull out a fresh sponge every day.
However, that won’t be necessary. For one thing, it would be terrible for the environment. For another, you can help rid it of some of the bacteria to make it less gross. For example, rinse and wring it out every time you scrub something. You can also ensure better hygiene by swapping out your sponge every other day and rotating them to allow them to dry.
