Ear Protectors
Now, there is absolutely no substitute for PPE. If you work with loud machinery and tools all day long, you shouldn’t look for the cheapest ear protectors on the market. However, if you’re a DIY “master” who uses power tools on occasion, this hack will sort of work for you.
Take a tennis ball, cut it in half, then get a piece of metal or plastic to create a band that can sit on top of your head. Attach the halves onto each end of the metal or plastic, making sure the interior of the halved balls faces each other.
