#35: Sometimes, You Just Roll with It
We’ve seen a few burnt turkeys, but it looks like this one is about to go under the carving knife. I can hear that guy now. I bet he sounds just like my dad. “The skin is a bit crispy, but wait until you see the actual turkey inside! It’ll be the best you’ve ever tasted.” No reason to waste perfectly good turkey.
Of course, out of respect, the whole family will take some from the serving platter and pretend to choke it down. Take this as a warning, turkey fryers. Don’t fry the turkey unless you know what you’re doing. A few minutes too long, it will be burnt to a crisp.
