Our Forever Favorites from Aldi

April 22, 2022 by Alison Campbell

We’ll just come right out and say it: we LOVE Aldi. Why? First things first, the price point is incredible. But we love Aldi for so much more than just its prices; take for instance their limited specialty items, these things make each and every Aldi experience fun. While it may not even be something most shoppers notice, we love the layout; it’s simple, it’s organized, and we don’t know about your Aldi, but the aisles are plenty big which takes a lot of stress out of shopping. And before we get to the good stuff, we’ll leave you with just one more reason we are Aldi shoppers through and through, we can nab organic foods without breaking the bank. (This is a BIG plus for us!) Whether you’re an Aldi aficionado or you’re prepping for your first shopping experience, we think you’ll enjoy our little list of a few must-have items! Let’s get started.

These Very Specific Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels

These chocolates are perfect for adding to a charcuterie board or slowly devouring while you catch the most recent true crime documentary on Netflix, and they pair nicely with your favorite Aldi wine. If you find this combination of flavors as luxurious as we do, these will quickly become must-haves for you too!

Friendly Farms Oat and/or Almond Milk

If you have a need or just prefer to buy oat milk or almond milk then you know that at certain stores it can get pretty pricey and for what? Sometimes you don’t even get any bang for your buck. Not at Aldi! Not only is oat milk and almond milk super affordable here, but you actually get enough to last you more than just a couple of days.

Italian Style Meatballs

Meatballs are a delicious app or entree, but they’re so time-consuming. And we don’t mind a frozen meatball, but these pre-made Italian-style meatballs from Aldi take all of the work out of having meatballs and taste homemade. These are great for quick weeknight dinners or making apps for a crowd.

Fancy Cheeses

We want to shout this one from the rooftops because the cheese selection is always incredible. Now, Aldi is notorious for switching around their products so you do have to be a little open-minded when it comes to cheese because while they may have a similar product every time you go, it may not always be the exact same product. But if you’re a cheese enthusiast or just love a good charcuterie board, you’ll want to make time to peruse the cheese section every time you go to Aldi.

Little Salad Bar Chopped Salad Kits

You can’t go wrong with any flavor combination and there is enough for one big salad guaranteed to leave you feeling full or a couple of scrumptious side salads.
