2023 is almost here and many of us are probably making the resolution to get healthier in the coming year. Now while this resolution isn’t a bad one, we’re all about health, it can be a difficult one to navigate because frankly, life gets hard. But we’ve put together a list of health hacks to keep in mind as you begin the new year. And we wish you all the best on your health journey. Let’s get started!
Pre-Shower Workout
It always feels like there are never enough hours in the day, and as you’re switching up your routine to include one or two workouts per day, you’ll really start to notice how little time you have. On the days when squeezing in a workout seems nearly impossible, really earn that shower by doing a few lunges, push-ups, squats, mountain climbers, etc. Every little bit helps, we promise.
Clear Your Mind
Setting aside time to meditate daily will help lower your stress levels, help you sleep better, and improve your immune function, all of which is incredibly important for your health.
No Distractions During Mealtimes
We are just as guilty as the next person of not wanting to eat until we have found just the right Netflix binge, but the thing is, this isn’t great for your health. What happens when you’re wildly distracted by your phones or TV while you eat? You don’t pay attention to what your body is telling you as you’re eating and you tend to overeat.
Two Words: Meal Prep

The days get crazy busy, crazy fast and all too often that means we skip meals or turn to super unhealthy foods to get a quick boost of energy. You can avoid this slippery slope by meal planning. Choose a day when you have the time to commit to planning and prepping so that breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks can be ready to go for the week making it beyond easy for you to stick to your health goals. The best part about meal planning is that you can get creative with your meals and try new things while still sticking to the food plan that works best for you whether that be low carb, high protein, vegetarian, you name it.
Got Snacks?
If you’ve got a desk drawer full of snacks or keep your snacks on top of your desk so you can easily grab them throughout your day, replace the sugary snacks with healthy snacks. At first, you may not love the change, but your body will thank you, and soon you’ll be making healthy choices without even having to think about it.
