Loosening Stuck Lightbulbs
The process of changing light bulbs can be time-consuming, especially when they become stuck in the socket. But as long as you have a tub of Vaseline available, this basic task should be quite stress-free. As long as you don’t mind getting your lightbulbs greasy with jelly, you should give this trick a try.
This is actually a pre-emptive solution to this problem. Before screwing in a lightbulb, make sure you dab a layer of Vaseline on the threads. That way, they won’t get stuck due to dust or rust in the future. Vaseline won’t stop electricity from flowing to the lightbulb, but don’t be too generous when applying the jelly.
