Moisturizing Dog Paws
Every dog, like humans, needs to cope with dry spots and roughness on its paws from time to time. Dogs are unable to apply skincare products to alleviate this condition due to their biological nature—i.e., lack of hands and thumbs. That’s where Vaseline comes into play.
Don’t worry, Vaseline is non-irritating to animals, so you can rest confident that your dogs will not be irritated. Still, you should speak with a vet before trying new treatment procedures on your pets, even if it’s as simple as applying some petroleum jelly on their paws. It’s a lot better to be safe than sorry, you know.
