Cover Electrical Components in Plastic Food Containers
On the outside of your caravan are probably wires and cables to supply power from your generator to your caravan. While some cables can be waterproof, it’s always safer to assume that they aren’t. That’s why you should cover them with whatever piece of plastic you have aboard your caravan.
This person used a plastic food container with holes cut out of the sides to let cables pass through. A plastic bag can be sufficient, but you have to make sure that none of the water drips into the bag and onto the electrical workings, which is a lot easier than it sounds.
