Get a Portable AC
We know we spoke about the benefits of using 12V fans, but let’s be real for a second. Fans do nothing to cool us down during the summer. Fans simply move air around a room, which is great if you’re sweating but doesn’t offer much in terms of cooling you down.
So, if your generator can accommodate it, you should get a portable AC. These things are becoming less and less power-hungry, so even portable generators should have enough leftover power to run a portable AC for a few hours. If you’re not a fan of portable ACs, you can always connect your 12V fan to a box filled with ice.
