Australian BBQ
This one isn’t much of a weird habit, but this Reddit user just had to get things straight. BBQ is always good in every country, but people all around the world do it differently. For some reason, people around the world seem to think Australians barbecue shrimps, rather than sausages and steak, as we usually do in the States.
However, he’s here to make things straight and let us know they barbecue sausages and steak, just like the rest of us. They don’t even call shrimps “shrimp”, but they mostly refer to it as “prawn.” Where did we come up with that? Maybe it has something to do with the famous Australian “shrimp on the Barbie” commercial from the nineties.
