Gram-Worthy Road Trips

October 23, 2021 by Romy

Out of our way, Jack Kerouac. Post-pandemic life means we finally get to hit the open road and to say we’re ready is an understatement. (As you begin to travel again, we definitely suggest reading up on current COVID-19 procedures and vaccination requirements so you’re prepared!) We don’t actually know where we’re off to first, but we know we’re suffering from some serious wanderlust and that we’re ready to see cool, new things and meet some interesting locals. If you’re in the same boat as us, we’ve created a list of Gram-worthy destinations to choose from for your next trip!

Emerald Lake, Alaska

Okay, going to need more than adjust your car for this one, but with a name like Emerald Lake? We can’t imagine there are any bad views there. We also don’t have to wonder how Emerald Lake got its name.

Bentonville, Arkansas

Do you want to feel like you’re in a real-life Stars Hollow? Then Bentonville, Arkansas is the place for you! This charming downtown is picture-perfect all year round, but extra picturesque in the spring and fall.

Mammoth Cave National Park, Kentucky

This National Park is just all-around gorgeous, and not only is there a ton to discover and explore, but there is also a little hotel located within the park in case you need to spend the night, and ya know, catch a breathtaking sunrise the next morning.

Strawberry Park Hot Springs, Colorado

Instagram-worthy scenery AND getting to soak in a hot spring? Count us in. Plus soaking in natural hot springs provides a ton of benefits for the body and mind.

Ogden Farmers Market, Utah

Admittedly, we’re suckers for farmers’ markets, and the one in Ogden, Uta is one of the best. Local artists, local food, tons to see, endless photo ops? Yes, please.

Mackinac Island, Michigan

Once again, a ferry will be required to get to the island, but once you arrive, there are no cars, there are only bikes and horse-drawn carriages. Yes, you read that right. Enjoy a tour of the fort, a carriage tour, an endless supply of fudge, or just a stroll around the island eyeballing all of the gorgeous homes.
