Give Your Oven A Break and Opt to Make a No-Bake Dessert This Thanksgiving!

November 15, 2021 by Brandy

The holidays are quickly approaching and few things are better than the smell of fresh baked goods filling up the house; but with classroom parties, office parties, family gatherings, and everything else that seems to pile up, who has time to do a bunch of baking? We’ve got you covered with some of our most favorite no-bake desserts that are just as good as anything that would take twice as long and be twice as messy. So light that fresh baked cookies candle and let’s get started!

Pumpkin Pie Icebox Cake

This is the perfect dessert for people that want a pumpkin pie, but don’t really want to commit to the whole act of actually making a pumpkin pie. This dessert is simply layers of pumpkin filling and graham crackers, dressed up with some whipped topping, of course!

Hot Chocolate Tiramisu

Caramel Apple Icebox Cake

We’ll break down each flavor component of this recipe for you: Cream cheese. Whipped cream. Apples. Cinnamon. Caramel. So basically every delightful fall flavor, making this the perfect, not to mention, easiest dessert for the holidays. You can even substitute certain components to make this dessert a creation all your own like switching out the graham crackers for Golden Oreos or ginger snaps or even swapping out the apples for pears.

Salted Caramel Coconut Macaroons

Macaroons are a great option for the holidays because they’re truly a crowd-pleaser, and these particular macaroons combine the flavors of coconut, chocolate, and salted caramel. What’s not to love? Whip up a big batch of these macaroons, toss some in the freezer, and you won’t have to worry about those surprise holiday party invitations.

Gingersnap Pumpkin Trifle

What could be better than a dessert that tastes delicious, is easy to put together, and looks great on the holiday table? If there happens to be a component of this dessert that just isn’t your thing, the beauty is you can easily swap out ingredients. This recipe could easily be modified so each guest gets his or her own mini trifle, or opt to serve up the whole beautiful dish.
