#26: Unfreezing Your Brain
Here’s an interesting fact for you: did you know that brain freeze is caused by blood vessels? When you get something cold in your mouth or throat or on your head, your blood vessels constrict, and then your body sends extra blood there to try and warm the area back up. That constricting and then rush of blood is what causes the headache.

So this hack makes sense. If the headache is caused by cold in your mouth or throat, it makes sense that putting pressure on your mouth and throat could be the thing it stops it! The next time you’re eating ice cream, keep this tip in mind.
