Consider A Different Place for Your Spare Key
You’ve seen it in every movie or TV series, and maybe you even do it – someone leaves their spare key underneath the front doormat. It’s a convenient spot for whenever you lose your primary key. But consider this: what if a burglar happens to locate that extra key? Then, you’ve given a complete stranger access to your home without enacting external damage.
Perhaps drum up other place you can hide your spare key. What about under a rock in the front garden? Somewhere near the back door? Inside the dirt of a potted plant? As long as it’s some place you can find, that’s all that matters. Make it more difficult for trespassers to rob you.
