#9: A Couch as Old as Time
If you are ever lucky enough to get your hands on a truly vintage piece of furniture, you will probably understand the tremendous importance of taking good care of it. It’s best to leave your antique furniture alone as much as possible. If it gets dusty, you can wipe it down with a dry cloth; use a slightly damp cloth with a touch of cleaner for more challenging jobs. Definitely do not use any harsh chemicals. And if you are in doubt, simply don’t clean it. It’s too risky.
