#11: Ye Olde Cast Iron Skillet
We admit it: We go gaga over our cast iron skillets. They cook our food so evenly and perfectly that we would be lost without them. However, cleaning one of these bad boys stresses us out. All we hear about them is that you should never use dish soap on them. So, how can you clean them?

Well, of course, you should clean it every time you use it. The secret to getting it properly clean is to wipe it out with paper towels while it’s still warm from use. This will remove food particles and any oils. Then you can scrub it in hot water with a gentle cleaning brush. Make sure to dry it thoroughly before putting it away, so it doesn’t rust.
