#27: What Different Colored Helmets Indicate: A Guide to Work Safety
Safety should always come first, especially at a construction site. But have you ever seen workers with different color helmets and wondered if they represented something? Well, guess what? They do. Each type and color of helmet represents a different kind of role.

For example, a white helmet is for foremen, supervisors, engineers, and managers, while grey is for site visitors. Green is for on-site safety officers, and blue is for technical and electrical operators. Pink is used as an additional helmet or for female workers, whereas red is for firefighters. A brown helmet is for welders or those operating in high-heat situations, and yellow, which you’ll see most commonly, indicates those performing construction, labor, and heavy-duty tasks.
