I don’t know about you, but growing up, I kept hearing the phrase, “Money doesn’t buy happiness.” Our parents teach it to us to teach us to be happy with what we have and learn that, well, money can’t buy happiness, and there are more important things in life, such as family and friendships.

However, according to the chart above, money can buy happiness a lot of the time. According to this chart, people’s perceived and experienced well-being directly correlates with their annual income. The higher your annual salary, the higher your well-being. Who would have guessed?
