#27: But Sir, It Says They’re Free!
After dozens of people reached for a mint, thinking they were free, management decided to make it clear they were not. Sadly, it still says they’re free. It’s obvious that they aren’t $0.25! It says it right there! All jokes aside, that’s a huge upcharge. Those mints cost $0.01 a piece. They should charge a nickel and move on.
Is the price going to make or break this business? They’re probably a restaurant. I’m sure they can factor the cost of a mint into the overall bill with a bit of careful maneuvering. Honestly, if they’re this upset about it, they should just remove the mints and keep them in the back for the employees.
