Check Your Treads
You probably don’t think much about your car tires. The only time they get much attention is if your dashboard light indicates that tires need air or if you get a flat. Of course, we know we should pay closer attention to how our tires are holding up, but what would we even look for?
The best way to determine how much life is left in your tires is by checking your treads. The deeper your treads are, the healthier your car’s tires are. But how can you know how deep they should be? Take the penny test! Insert a penny into a tread, with Abe Lincoln pointing head down. If the whole top of his head is hidden, your tires are in good shape!
