This person provides two examples of Michael Scott moves his boss had done, and we’re jetting serious second-hand embarrassment. Having people ask about your hair is not necessarily inappropriate, depending on how it’s done. Having the boss ask if your hair is “fake” after learning a woman in the office has a weave is definitely cringe-worthy.
The meetings thing doesn’t seem like the worst thing in the world, though. It sounds like he had good intentions; he knew that meetings can be tedious and boring, and he wanted to make them a bit more exciting with candy. True, we aren’t kids who can be lured into meetings with candy, but I guess it didn’t hurt to try.
