Architectural Choices That Hardly Make Any Sense

When you’re looking to get someone to buy your house, the area inside is one major thing buyers will look at. After all, more space basically means a bigger house, and that’s something that most people want. In this case, we have no idea what was going on. It’s really hard to find a reasonable explanation for this nook.

Maybe an upper floor was demolished and reconstructed and that was what was left of its floor. Or maybe it was put in as some kind of access to the window. Or maybe, just maybe, it’s a small space where people go when they want privacy. Regardless, while the window can be rationalized, that little platform seems quite unnecessary, no matter how you look at it.
