Architectural Choices That Hardly Make Any Sense

Look for the part of the ceiling where it meets the wall. A lot of the time, you’ll see some kind of ornamental molding. That’s known as crown molding, and it gives the room a really nice look. I’m sure we can all agree on that. The designer of this house must have never heard of the saying “less is more,” though.

We don’t know exactly what happened here. Just looking at it, it seems like the person doing the crown molding forgot they had done it already, so he did it again, and again, and again. Apparently more than ten times. Whether this was a mistake, a way to cover up a mistake, or a design choice, we’ll never know.
