Architectural Choices That Hardly Make Any Sense

Very tall people are a minority. They have to live their lives ducking deep under doorways so that they don’t bash their foreheads. They are constantly used for their ability to reach high shelves. And some of them have the unfortunate occasion where they hit their head or hands on a ceiling fan.

Well, that seemed to be a very important consideration for the person who designed this home. Either that or the ceiling is extremely low. This is an elegant solution, sinking the fan into a recess on the ceiling. The problem is, we’d think that having its own space severely impacts its ability to cool the room.
