#31: Sixteen and Pregnant
Speaking of teen childbearing rates, this map gives us an idea of what that looks like across America. At first glance, we thought something was missing from this map, but then we realized that Minnesota is as white as an eggshell! In any case, while interesting, this data would be better compared with things like education.
We’re not sure why the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are the ones collecting this data, but we’re glad that it exists. Aside from that, the map looks somewhat uniform, which we guess is what happens when you average out large numbers of people. Who would have thought?
